LONDON (NNA) – The Wise Traditions London 2012 festival for traditional nutrition will take place next month at Epsom Down Racecourse. The event on 17 and 18 March includes the third annual Weston A. Price Foundation conference with speakers including Professor Ton Baars, the former professor of biodynamic agriculture at Kassel University in Germany.

The Weston A. Price Foundation campaigns for “wise traditions in food, farming and the healing arts and is very supportive of the works of Rudolf Steiner, including promoting biodynamic farming and anthroposophical medicine as part of its vision for a more healthy future,” Philip Ridley from the Weston A. Price Foundation says.

Biodynamic producers exhibiting and contributing to the buffets include Laverstoke Park Farm, Seagreens, Perry Court Farm and Waltham Place. Professor Baars will be talking about the benefits of raw milk.

But, Ridley says, the event is not only about learning: “Also enjoy the producers exhibition, Saturday hog roast with pre-vinyl sounds from dj.78 and a biodynamic wine bar Saturday evening.”
